Front: DONRUSS DIAMOND KINGS WILLIE RANDOLPH Perez (artist signature) Back: NO. 19 DONRUSS DIAMOND KINGS WILLIE RANDOLPH Second Baseman Dodgers After 13 seasons with the New York Yankees, Willie Randolph switched scenery in 1989 and moved to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Randolph spent virtually all his major league career with the Yankees until New York decided it wanted a younger second baseman. The Yankees signed Steve Sax and ironically, Randolph took Sax's place with the Dodgers. Randolph, a truly consistent performer for the Yankees, showed the Dodgers his career wasn't finished. He made his sixth All-Star team and the highlight of his season came in late August when he hit a three-run homer to beat the Mets at Shea Stadium before his old hometown fans. For the Dodgers he hit .282, scored 62 runs, had 18 doubles and 71 walks. 1986 1990 ©1989 LEAF, INC. • MADE AND PRINTED IN U.S.A. • PEREZ-STEELE GALLERIES
